Naughty Dog’s Druckmann Urges Patience In Waiting For Studios’ Next Project

Strap in, because it's probably going to be awhile.

Last year saw the release of the much anticipated The Last of Us Part 2 from Sony and Naughty Dog, which was heaped with tons of critical acclaim and high sales. As you’d expect, fans are eager to see what the developer will be doing next, but they will have to be patience.

On his official Twitter, Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann told people asking about future projects that they would have to be patient. He promised that there were several “cool” things to share, which they would do as soon as possible, but sounds like it could very well be a good while before we get them.

As it stands now, no one is sure what the studio is working on. Whether they will continue with a third The Last of Us, a fifth Uncharted or an entirely new property is really anyone’s guess. There’s also a multiplayer mode that was talked about for The Last of Us Part 2, but it’s unclear if Naughty Dog will be the one doing it. In the end, we’ll just have to have patience.
