Along with the release of the free Prelude demo for NBA 2K18, Visual Concepts has also confirmed the system requirements for the PC version. The requirements were recently updated on Steam.

Minimum requirements are pretty generous – an Intel Core i3-530, 4 GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce GT 450 with 1 GB VRAM will be good enough to see you through. The best part are the recommended requirements where things only get slightly heftier.

You’ll need an Intel Core i5-4420, 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 with 2 GB VRAM to run the game. No additional details were provided on the graphical settings, frame rates or resolutions that these hardware settings could provide to players. It is worth noting that a massive 70 GB of installation space is required for installing the game.

NBA 2K18 is out on September 19th and will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch along with previous gen consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3. Those who pre-order the game can actually get access as early as September 15th and any progress made in The Prelude mode will carry over into the main game.
