Over 4000 new animations added.

2K Sports is rolling on with it’s upcoming sports title, NBA2K13. In this third developer diary (the previous two were about gameplay), the team talks about the extraordinary amount of work and improvement put into animations this time.

Boasting of over 4000 animations, NBA2K13 certainly looks far smoother than any of it’s predecessors. The team wants to focus on overall nuance so it’s a given that a lot of details will be lost on the player. However, it makes for great viewing, to see players actually palm the ball rather than simply holding it.
