Need for Speed Movie Featurette Explores Camera Cars

Ever wondered how those car chases and fast-paced sequences in the upcoming Need for Speed film were captured? EA has released a new featurette for the same which explores all the work that went into creating such chases, including camera angles and rigs that need to be constructed. Check it out above.

The Need for Speed film is adapted from the successful franchise, though it comes with an original story that involves Aaron Paul escaping imprisonment in Breaking Bad to team up with Kid Cudi and blow cars up. That’s not the official version, by the way, but we don’t envision the actual product being much different. At least series fans will recognize a lot of the vehicles being paraded about (and destroyed indiscriminately).

Need for Speed will be releasing in theaters worldwide on March 14th. Will you be checking it out or just playing the games – like the recent NFS Rivals – instead? Let us know in the comments.
