NEO The World Ends With You

After what feels like forever of teasing, we finally got the announcement that cult classic the The World Ends with You would be getting a full fledged sequel. The RPG had a unique gameplay set up back on the Nintendo DS, and a very interesting and stylish look. Since its reveal, however, we haven’t really heard very much about NEO: The World Ends with You, but it seems that will change next week.

Via the official Twitter for the animated adaptation of the first game, Series Creator Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that there would be some information about the game a few hours before the premiere of the new show. He doesn’t get into any specifics, so it’s up in the air what this will amount to. The game was recently rated in Australia, which can potentially be a sign that release is close, but we can only guess.

NEO: The World Ends with You has announced to release this year for PlayStation 4 and Switch. Whatever the new information is will drop on April 9th.
