Neverwinter Enters The Helms Hold, Where Devils and Demons Await

Also a dragon. There's always a dragon.

Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have released a new trailer for their Forgotten Realms-based AD&D MMORPG Neverwinter. This one looks at Helm’s Hold, where victims of the Spellplague went to seek sanctuary. Needless to say, it didn’t quite work out.

Because there are devils in Helm’s Hold. Not monsters – devils. And they’re lead by a Succubus named Rohini. So you’ve got to head over there with the other heroes and clean house. Also kill everyone.

The devils apparently appear in different shapes and sizes, accompanying imps and erinyes and attacking in groups to overpower singular attackers. Staying together and working as a team is important in this case.

Of course, they also dwell in the Lair of the Mad Dragon, Chartilifax. Being charmed by Rohini, the dragon must also be slayed. Dig it.

Neverwinter will see an open beta on April 30th for PC and release some time this year.
