New GT5 DLC Incoming, Possible Vita Version in Development?

Posted By | On 02nd, Jul. 2012

Gran Turismo 5 is one of the best and purest racing simulators for the Playstation 3, if not of all time. The series is a massive commercial success overall, and Polyphony Digital is looking to continue support with upcoming DLC.

In an interview with GTPlanet, director Kazunori Yamauchi spoke of the demand for new DLC.

Yes, we are preparing new DLC content for GT5. Despite it being a long time since GT5′s release, we have received a lot of fan messages asking about new DLC content. And that display of continued interest is something very important to us.

It’s also indicated that Gran Turismo will make it’s way on to the Playstation Vita, but has given no time frame (or any details) on the same.

Well, this type of information is confidential and I still cannot talk to you guys about that.

Yamauchi also discusses ideas like a Story mode and the Porsche brand possibly debuting in the future.
