New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Now Available for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo's port of New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U retails for $59.99 on Switch.

Platforming fans take note – Nintendo’s New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is now available for the Nintendo Switch. Retailing for $59.99, it encompasses New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. Both titles are Wii U ports that have been graphically improved for the Switch. Check out the trailer below.

On top of a stellar selection of levels for solo players, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe focuses on co-op play. Up to four players can team up together and venture through levels, hopping and bopping along the way. You can choose from Mario, Luigi, and Toad or take control of, along with new characters like Toadette and Nabbit.

Toadette is perhaps the most interesting addition. By using the new Super Crown, she becomes Peachette, and gains many of her abilities. Double jumping, floating, and much more are available, thus making things a bit easier for new players. If you’re interested, take a look at the launch trailer below.
