Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain

A brand new trailer for Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be coming this Tuesday, Kojima announced on Twitter today. The trailer will show off some brand new, ‘different’ gameplay, suggesting that the mechanics we see on display in this trailer will be unlike the bevy of mechanics for this game that we have already been exposed to.

Kojima elaborated that the video will depict the same mission from the game’s E3 video, but with “a different way of infiltration.” The video is meant to highlight how the open-world, sandbox-style game can lend to entirely different kinds of ways to approach the same objective.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on September 1 this year, with the PC version launching on September 15. It is meant to be the final entry in the ongoing Metal Gear arc, and the last game in the franchise helmed by the legendary Hideo Kojima. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
