As promised, Windows 10 will be coming to the Xbox One, when the New Xbox Experience, powered by Windows 10, launches for the Xbox One this November. The Windows 10 New Xbox Experience will be the first total overhaul the console’s UI and OS has gotten since it first launched nearly two years ago, and it promises to fix a lot of longstanding usability issues that the system still has, in spite of two years’ worth of steady updates.
With the New Xbox Experience will also launch the Microsoft Store on Xbox One, which should bring it some universal apps- this will let you turn it into a living room mini PC, as apps such as Microsoft Office, and even popular smartphone games, should all be readily accessible to you on your new device.
How Windows 10 on Xbox One pans out is something that remains to be seen, but judging by how well the OS has been received so far, we have no reason to be anything but optimistic.
