Xbox One New Interface

Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb has announced on Twitter that the New Xbox One Experience will be releasing on November 12th.

This is the new firmware update for the Xbox One which finally brings a boost of speed to the interface via a custom Windows 10 kernel. It includes backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One, a revamped interface with greatly improved navigation speed, better Game Hubs and much more. The Snap functionality will function more as an overlay now and you can bring it up more seamlessly than before.

The update is actually a heavily modified version of Windows 10, specifically built for Xbox One consoles and has been touted to be faster than the PS4’s interface, at least according to Preview Program members.
