Bugbear Entertainment’s Next Car Game is now available for play on Steam Early Access for $25. A $35 Digital Deluxe Edition is also available which includes wallpapers, an exclusive in-game race and a soundtrack.

Next Car Game focuses on the same destruction derby pandemonium that defined the developer’s well-known Flatout series (though there will be normal races as well). The game of course evolves its damage model significantly, allowing for cars which fall to pieces over a period of time and experience more realistic wear and tar. While the game was initially on Kickstarter, it failed to meet its funding targets but still managed to come through.

It’s important to note that the game is rife with bugs as it’s still very much in an early stage of development. Bugbear Entertainment is interested in gathering fan feedback though, so check it out if you’re interested in helping. Head here to download the game.
