A “special look” at BioWare’s next Dragon Age, which doesn’t have an official name just yet, has been revealed. While it doesn’t offer much by gameplay, it does offer a look at the “new hero” that players will be controlling. Check it out below.

Evil forces are starting to threaten Thedas once again and it seems that along with the Darkspawn, the Dread Wolf will be an adversary. Some of the new locations can be seen, including what seems to be The Tevinter Imperium, which is ruled by a magocracy. If nothing else, the role-playing game promises to be “your story” as much as anything else.

The next Dragon Age is currently in development for consoles and PC. It doesn’t have a release window – publisher Electronic Arts believes it should be out fiscal year 2022. This means it could theoretically land sometime in April 2022. We’ll see how that pans out in the coming years so stay tuned.
