Nier: Automata is releasing in Japan well before it will be coming to the United States and Europe. The good news is that when the full game does release in Japan, we can at least get a look at it on the PS4.

On the same day the game releases overseas, a demo will be made available on the PS4 in both the US and Europe. Those who want to get a good look at the game will be able to download the demo on December 22.

That means fans of the series will get themselves a free little holiday gift. While people in Japan will be playing the full game earlier people in the US and Europe will be able to finally get their hands on Nier:Automata in March of 2017 for the PS4. Sometime later in the year, the game will also be coming to Steam, though the date for that release is still unknown.
