NieR fans, rejoice- Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139… (or, you know, just NieR Replicant for convenience’s sake) is out now. As a remake (or close enough to being a remake anyway) of the original game, it’s perfect for newcomers, for longtime series fans, and for those who jumped onboard with 2017’s incredible NieR: Automata. In short, if you’re a NieR fan, this one is worth jumping into.
To celebrate the action RPG’s launch, Square Enix have released a launch trailer, which also serves as an accolades trailer, highlighting the praise the game has received from critics so far. In our own review of the game, we awarded it a score of 7/10, saying, “NieR Replicant’s upgrades put it nearly on par with NieR: Automata, and while it doesn’t live up to the tight package Automata provided, it’s a great addition for anyone who missed it the first time around.” You can read our full review through here.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is out now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Meanwhile, Square Enix has also started staffing up for future NieR projects, so fans of the series will definitely have more to look forward to down the line- not that that was ever in doubt.
