It might have been touted as a major “victory” for the Wii U to get the definitive version of Team Ninja’s hack and slash platformer with Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. However, Famitsu has confirmed the earlier rumours that the game will indeed be heading to Xbox 360 and PS3.

Check out the screenshots below.

We don’t know how far Team Ninja would go to bump up the visuals, but the game already contains a fair amount of extra content with extra playable characters like Kasumi and Ayane, new boss fights, bumped up levels of gore and violence, less quick time events and just a general revamp of the game to make it more appealing.

And for all that Nintendo invested in the game, going so far as to publish it in North America and Europe, it’s scored roughly 69 out of 100 on Metacritic and sold a rather timid number of copies last time we checked. Hopefully it gets the appreciation it deserves on other consoles.
