A new Nintendo Direct will take place on September 12th at 6 AM PT, according to the company. It will run for “approximately” 60 minutes and focus on upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games.

Perhaps the two biggest releases to look out for are Hyrule Legends: Age of Imprisonment and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Both are slated for this year and have yet to receive concrete launch dates. The former is confirmed for Tokyo Game Show 2025, while the latter was recently rated by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board in the US.

Of course, it’s likely that Pokémon Legends: Z-A will receive a new trailer ahead of its release in October for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. We could also see updates on Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, Rhythm Heaven Groove, Splatoon Raiders and much more. The real question is whether a new Mario title will be revealed, especially since it’s near the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.
