Nintendo ended up skipping its customary June Direct presentation in 2022, but it seems like its annual September presentation is indeed going ahead as usual. Recent leaks had claimed time and again that a Nintendo Direct was indeed planned for September, with rumblings suggesting that it would be coming as soon as tomorrow– which has turned out to be correct.

Taking recently to Twitter, Nintendo announced a new Direct presentation for tomorrow, September 13, at 7 AM PT. The presentation will be roughly 40 minutes long and will focus primarily on Nintendo Switch games releasing this Winter.

Meanwhile, Nintendo UK’s official Twitter page has clarified that company’s UK channels will not be livestreaming the Direct as a mark of respect for the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, with the presentation instead being published in its entirety as a video-on-demand on the Nintendo UK YouTube channel at 16:00 UK time tomorrow.

As for what will be announced at these presentations, that remains to be seen, but leaks may have given us a decent idea of what to expect. Supposedly, the long-rumoured Nintendo Switch ports of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD will finally be announced, while Nintendo is also allegedly set to reveal the final name of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel.

Leaks claim that the rumoured remaster of the original Metroid Prime may also be unveiled, while it seems like a Nintendo Switch version of It Takes Two is also incoming.

Either way, we’ll be covering the event live, so stay tuned for any and all updates.
