After an extensive Partner Showcase last month, Nintendo has announced an Indie World Showcase for March 3rd. Airing at 6 AM PT/8 AM ET, the show will run for 15 minutes and include new details on upcoming indie titles for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
There are several possibilities for what could appear, but my money is on Mina the Hollower. Delayed past 2025, it’s scheduled for this Spring, and given the timing of the showcase, it wouldn’t be surprising if it received a release date. A shadow drop may be asking too much, but we wouldn’t mind.
Witchbrook from Chucklefish could also potentially appear. As a cosy fantasy life sim where players attend Witchbrook College, it faced multiple delays over the years and is now planned for 2026. It hasn’t been officially announced for Nintendo Switch 2, so the Indie World Showcase could be as good a time as any.
Of course, there are endless possibilities, and I can’t help but feel a twinge of nostalgia for the days of rabid chatters asking for Hollow Knight: Silksong. However, with its free DLC Sea of Sorrow launching this year, maybe it’s time to get back to silkposting. Either way, stay tuned for more updates and live coverage tomorrow.
