Kid Icarus
Kid Icarus’s originally debuted in the mid ’80s. A genuinely, unique platformer with twists and turns and magical powers really lived up this 8bit classic when the Nintendo Entertainment System was still fairly new. But it wasn’t until Project Sora put together Kid Icarus: Uprising that the game really took off on its own. Released for the Nintendo 3DS and becoming more of a 3rd person shooter, Uprising pushed the (at the time) newly released 3DS to its limits. Taking control of the main character Pit, once again, it’s up to him to protect his world from Medusa. With an excellent cast of characters and voiceovers in this battle heavy adventure, Uprising showed that Pit was a couple decades out of the spotlight, but he definitely soared with to new heights on his return.
