Nintendo Switch Online More Information Coming in May

Can we just have cloud saves, please?

Nintendo has confirmed that more details about the elusive paid online service for the Nintendo Switch, which is due to launch later this year, will be arriving in Early May. Nintendo Switch Online was originally announced last January, alongside launch details for the system, and was due to launch last Fall. However, Nintendo eventually delayed it into this year, while some of the particulars about the service were reworked in response to fan demand.

Now, with the $20 a year online service (far cheaper than Xbox Live or PSN) due to launch this September, Nintendo will finally be revealing more details about it in a few weeks. As for what these details may be, we may get a better idea of the kind of free games customers might be entitled to, as well as the discounts; we will probably get an idea of additional perks that the service will offer, such as voice chat and cloud saves. Maybe Virtual Console will also be included in this update.

It’s hard to tell, because we literally know nothing about Nintendo Switch Online for now- but hopefully, that changes soon.
