The Nintendo Switch has officially crossed 10 million units sold in Japan as of November 3rd. According to Nintendo, that figure includes the sales of the regular Switch and the Switch Lite. The latter recently launched on September 20th worldwide.

In its most recent financial report, the company revealed that the Switch had sold 41.67 million units as of September 30th. The Switch Lite had sold 1.95 million in ten days and while the specific break-up for Japan wasn’t revealed, it’s still incredibly impressive. Of course, the regular Switch also received an update to its battery life to keep it relevant.

The rest of the fiscal year is looking good for Nintendo as it maintains its forecast for 18 million consoles sold by March 31s 2020. Luigi’s Mansion 3 is out now and is already the biggest Switch launch of 2019 in the UK (check out our review here). Pokemon Sword and Shield will release on November 15th while Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out on March 20th 2020.
