Nintendo released a new trailer for Animal Crossing: New Horizons during yesterday’s feature-packed Nintendo Direct. It showcases some new bits of information about island living courtesy of Nook Inc and how players will go about surviving. Check it out below.

The most obvious new addition is the NookPhone, which contains a camera, recipes and NookMiles. NookMiles are especially important because they can be exchanged for different special items and recipes. They can be earned by completing different tasks like beautifying the island, greeting residents, collecting recipes and much more.

The trailer also showcases how the island changes with the time of day and weather. Rainfall and overcast skies are a few examples, though previous footage has showcased how different seasons can affect activities and living. Up to four players can play together locally while online co-op accommodates up to eight players.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out on March 20th, 2020 for Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details.
