Katsuie Shibata (Second Fight)
Who could have believed that Shibata would come back as one of the toughest, most annoying bosses in the game? Now a full-fledged Yokai in the main mission “Ruin Draws Near”, Shibata loves to charge at you for massive damage. He’s constantly charging about, and in the Dark Realm, he’ll slam down his axes to create whirlpools of fire. He also has a Burst Attack which leads into a combo but countering this is thankfully easy. The problem with this fight is, in addition to the sheer amount of damage that Shibata can deal, he has a good amount of health and switch-ups. At one point, he’ll throw both axes out to circle around him, making it tough to get close. Another Burst Attack involves slamming both axes down for a huge explosion. It’s one thing after another and he never lets up.
