No Man’s Sky recently received its massive NEXT update and it’s drawn players back to the game in droves. Despite a few issues (which a recent patch helped iron out), the multiplayer and expanded base building is definitely appreciated.

Speaking of base building, though we’ve seen miniature cities and other expansive facilities, have you ever wondered just how high you could build? Director and Hello Games founder Sean Murray decided to showcase just how high in a new video. It starts with the player at the very height of a building and falling down to the planet’s surface. The fall starts at 14 seconds and concludes at 48 seconds. For a 50 second video, that’s quite a long fall.

Among other things players can do in the NEXT update is manage a fleet of frigates that can be called in for back-up or sent on missions in real-time, explore a wider range of sights (including derelict stations) and even fight other players. More content will be coming courtesy of weekly updates, which bring missions and community events that promise rewards, so stay tuned.
