No Man’s Sky Tops Mass Effect: Andromeda, Battlefield 1, In Amazon Survey

It's what you want, apparently.

No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky has received an almost absurd amount of hype, considering that it’s an indie effort from a tiny team previously known for making side-scrolling motorcycle stunt games. Regardless, the procedurally-generated universe-simulator seems to have struck a chord with a lot of people. Per Amazon’s E3 2016 Gaming Bundle Prize Draw survey, No Man’s Sky is the most anticipated title of the year among Amazon customers.

Honestly, we’re a bit confounded by the list. Mass Effect: Andromeda, one of the most anticipated games in the galaxy brings up the very rear of the list, behind even Watch Dogs 2. And Deus Ex: Mankind Divided doesn’t even figure on it. Don’t you like Deus Ex? Don’t you?

Regardless of seemingly bizarre consumer preferences, the Amazon E3 2016 Gaming Bundle Prize Draw survey again underlines just how much people are expecting of No Man’s Sky. I am a bit more cautiously optimistic considering how well the last procedurally generated space-sim, Elite: Dangerous, turned out (not well.) But let’s see.

What’s your take on No Man’s Sky? Let us know!
