Nolla Games’ Noita, a roguelike where every single particle is physically simulated, has received its newest update. This will be the eighth for the early access title and it brings several new spells to play around. As the name indicates, there’s also lots of snow to be had. Check out the trailer below.
Five new magical liquids, including one that allows you to slide, have also been added. Fifteen new spells have been added including one that fires a magical orb that bounces from the floor to the ceiling quickly. This obliterates foes in your path and can make for easy clearing in tight spaces.
New Game Plus has also been added, allowing players to carry over progress, and there are new creatures to deal with as well. The developer has also noted that “additional festive spirit” will be added in-game over the next few days so brace yourself. Noita is currently 20 percent off on Steam due to the Winter Sale so if you’ve ever wanted to try it out, now is a good time.
