One of the platform holders won’t make a next-gen console says Gaikai

So the… ahem, cloud gaming service, Gaikai says that Sony or Microsoft won’t be making a next gen console. That’s their prediction for this E3.

They say one of them will announce that they are quitting or won’t make a new console.

Now both Microsoft and Sony are quite invested in this business, so I don’t know how they came at this conclusion.

Chief product officer Nana Reeves said, “Not all of the current console makers will have one more generation. That will be the big news at E3,” to IndustryGamers.

Sony has said recently that they won’t reveal a new console at E3 this year, and we have no idea about Microsoft as well.

Best things about a new console gen is all the rumours that range from sensible to borderline ridiculous.
