The Joe Pasquale of categories, somewhat lightweight and papery compared to its AAA counterparts, not really respected within major circles and arguably rightly so. New Star Soccer charts the rise -and possibly fall- of a man trapped in a world of infinite football pitches, and his struggle to come to terms with his own lack of mortality. A laugh romp of a psychological thriller from start to finish, Kevin Spacey’s performance as the talking football is nothing short of magical.
