Unlike other undecided categories, this hasn’t been a particularly good year for DLC. Once a delightful extension to a game paying lip service to fans is now an obligatory omission from the core game, generally at huge expense to the player. EURO 2012 was a horrible example of this, the FIFA series and international body in a nutshell and unless we stop paying for this sort of triple-fried arse on toast, we’ll continue down this path for a good while yet.
