 Best Action/Adventure

  • Assassin’s Creed Revelations
  • Asura’s Wrath
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Darksiders II
  • Dead Island
  • Prototype 2
  • Saints Row The Third
  • Sleeping Dogs
  • Sonic Generations
  • Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
  • Uncharted 3

Winner: undecided

In a tossup between Batman: Arkham City, Saints Row The Third, Sleeping Dogs and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, it’s safe to say the latter part of 2011 and the majority of 2012 has been really bloody kind to the adventure genre. Even those not in contention are all still excellent games in their own right, even if one or two didn’t turn out as advertised.
