Overkill's The Walking Dead

Despite Telltale Games delivering on the story-telling front in The Walking Dead (more or less), a truly fun co-op shooter has been wanting. Fortunately, we’ll finally be getting it this year as Overkill’s The Walking Dead is confirmed to launch on November 6th. The first gameplay trailer also debuted at the PC Gaming Show 2018 – check it out below.

Set in Georgetown following the zombie apocalypse, the first person shooter focuses on four survivors. Each have their own motivations and backstories but also possess different abilities that are essential for survival. Learning to balance those special abilities, develop skill trees and more will be essential to survival.

Along with shooting up and sneaking by zombies, players will have to build a camp and keep it well-maintained. As the story progresses, more information about the story and how to effectively escape the terrors of Washington D.C. will be revealed.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is heading to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
