Overwatch 2 - Lifeweaver

With Overwatch 2’s Season 4 coming next week, Blizzard Entertainment unveiled the first gameplay of new hero Niran PruksaManee, aka Lifeweaver. As a Support hero, he’s capable of generating petals to heal allies, creating platforms to raise them (and enemies) and constructing a massive tree to heal allies in range. In a new Developer Update, the team talks about his background and abilities.

Born in Thailand, PruksaManee studied at the Vishkar Architech Academy with Symmetra and thus has a few interactions with her. Biolight technology powers his abilities, with their application reinforcing his love for nature. Unlike Kiriko, his healing is more like the Armor Packs that Brigitte uses and relies less on aiming.

Lifeweaver can still deal some damage with Thorn Valley, his alternate firing ability. It’s not severely threatening, so try not to replace Moira with him as your go-to Support DPS.

Overwatch 2: Season 4 arrives on April 11th, and Lifeweaver is available immediately for those who purchase the Premium Battle Pass. Stay tuned for more details on other content when the latest trailer debuts tomorrow.
