Overwatch 2 - Kiriko

As promised, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2 will have some double match XP weekends to make up for the launch issues. The first starts tomorrow at 11 AM PT and will be available until October 24th.

Of course, the keywords are “double match XP.” It’s likely that this only applies to the XP received upon completing matches, consecutive matches played, and so on. If XP from Challenges is double, this could be a great way to earn several Tiers on one’s Battle Pass. Time will ultimately tell.

Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. For more details on how to quickly earn XP and complete Challenges, check out our guide here. Following the double match XP weekend, the limited-time event Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride will go live on October 25th till November 8th. Stay tuned for more details on the same in the coming days.
