Overwatch 2 - Kiriko

The newest hero to join Overwatch 2’s roster before it launches next month is Kiriko. As a Support hero, she’s capable of healing but has several different tricks up her sleeves. Check out the announcement trailer below.

As revealed on the official Overwatch Twitter, Kiriko can channel a burst of healing with talismans that seek out allies. She can also render allies invulnerable for a short time and cleanse them of most negative effects, and teleport to them, even through walls. Her Kunai deal increased critical damage, and she can climb up walls.

Kiriko’s UItimate is Kitsune Rush, which summons a fox spirit that moves forward, increasing the attack speed and movement of allies while reducing their cooldowns. Overall, she sounds more like a DPS/Support hybrid rather than a pure healer.

Overwatch 2 enters free-to-play, early access on October 4th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Along with Kiriko, two new heroes – Junker Queen and Sojourn – will be playable.
