Following the release of gameplay for Sojourn in Overwatch 2, Blizzard Entertainment also provided a new developer update video about her. As revealed years ago, Sojourn utilizes an assault rifle that fires shots in a 40 round clip. Deal damage with these shots and you’ll accumulate charge for firing her other weapon – a railgun.

Her Slide is one of the abilities that was added in the beginning of development and has stuck all the way through. Along with quickly maneuvering around, one can boost jump at the end of it for some extra height. Disruptor Shot is a secondary ability which creates an energy field that slows and damages enemies within it.

Sojourn’s Ultimate was initially a giant railgun shot that could penetrate through walls (which didn’t go over too well and ended up being cut). Now it’s called Overclock and sees her charge building quickly on its own to fire multiple railgun shots in a short span of time. Overwatch 2’s closed PvP beta will be taking place on April 26th for PC and allows select players to try out Sojourn’s kit. For more details on other content in the beta, head here.
