Marvel Rivals arrives tomorrow, but Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2 is chugging along regardless. Season 14 has officially been revealed, titled after its newest hero – Hazard. Check out the latest trailer before the season’s launch on December 10th.
The season is Norse-themed, which means a Mythic skin for Reinhardt that resembles Thor (including shirtless and fully armored variations). Other heroes receiving similarly themed skins in the battle pass include Lifeweaver, Sigma, and Junker Queen. Meanwhile, you’ll need to pay real money for Sombra, Mercy, Mauga, and more.
As for Hazard, he’s a Tank who mixes brawl and dive, creating walls to block damage but also to access the high ground. He can also leap towards opponents, block damage to fire retaliatory spikes, and launch a rain of shards to snare enemies. It should be interesting to see how he synergizes with other Tanks, especially with the incoming experimental 6v6 modes.
Overwatch 2: Classic also enters the Moth meta with balance changing to replicate the time when Mercy received her rework and effectively ruled. Other new content includes the return of Winter Wonderland and Lunar New Year. Stay tuned for more details on Season 14: Hazard in the coming days.
