Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch will be receiving a series of animated shorts in the Spring to explain how these various heroes band together to save the world.

These animated shorts have been teased in a new trailer and it will feature some of the more well-known characters from the game. It also takes a look at some of the work going on behind the scenes for production. The shorts were meant to air at BlizzCon 2015 but it will be worth waiting to see if it actually appears.

Overwatch is currently in closed beta for the PC – it will also be releasing for current gen platforms this May with an open beta planned for earlier in the month. Early access will be granted to those who pre-order. What are your thoughts on the trailer for the shorts? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
