Blizzard Entertainment released a new developer update for Overwatch, detailing the Uprising event that will be returning on April 10th. However, in a rather interesting twist, it was revealed that the Spring event will be part of Overwatch Archives with each new iteration focusing on some new lore. King’s Row Uprising will still be available and a new skin will be coming for everyone’s “favourite Shimada brother”.
The next big PvE mission that will be coming along with Uprising is called Retribution, the logo of which can be seen above. What’s interesting about Retribution are the various leaks emerging for it. According to Reddit user chynnese, a mural recently went up in Melbourne, Australia which showcases McCree and Genji in some kind of mansion. Other reports seem to indicate the mission takes place in Venice and involves Moira, thus delving more into her backstory.
It could be that the mission centres on Blackwatch, the covert operations group run by Gabriel Reyes (who would later become Reaper) which also includes McCree and Genji. Given how Moira was involved with Blackwatch in the past, her involvement certainly seems possible.
