Overwatch – Blizzard Confirms Doomfist Rocketpunch Bugs

They're currently working on fixing these.

Overwacth players have discovered new bugs in the game that affect playing with the character Doomfist. A user posted on Blizzard’s Battlenet forums (via Reddit), describing the bugs. Apparently, Doomfist’s Rocketpunch ability has become a little overpowered.

Thanks to these bugs, Doomfist can now move Mei’s Cryo Freeze using his Rocketpunch, doing no damage. Additionally, his punch can also knock Bastion out of Sentry mode at full charge. The forum post points out that none of this was mentioned in the patch notes for the latest PTR patch.

Overwatch’s game director Jeff Kaplan has confirmed that these are indeed bugs. He said this in a reply on the same forum post, before going on to say that Blizzard is currently working on fixes, and that they should happen “soon”.

This is just one of the many, many times Overwatch players have encountered bugs in the game. We bring you reports for the same nearly every week. You can find out more about previous bugs and glitches that have been encountered, as well as anything and everything else to do with Overwatch through here.
