Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch is a huge success. Surprised? Well, that success just keeps going up. Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad aka ZhugeEX revealed on Twitter that Overwatch had more than 15 million players globally.

He also noted that, “In China, Overwatch broke the previous record set by Diablo 3 as the fastest-selling PC game in the market’s history.”

Remember when reports emerged of Overwatch overtaking League of Legends in Korean cyber cafes? That hasn’t changed much either. “Overwatch also currently holds the number one position in Korean Internet Game Rooms with over 30% share of play time,” according to Ahmad.

Overwatch recently received a new update that adds Lucioball and Summer Games Loot Boxes for players to earn. More such events are planned in the future and Blizzard has talked about other new characters and maps being added in the near future.
