Overwatch is still an ongoing project for Blizzard, with the latest hero being released not too long ago. There’s been rumors of the game making its way to the Nintendo Switch for a while, ever since Diablo 3 released to much success on the system. Things definitely seemed to be pointing that way when an officially licensed Overwatch case popped up for the system. Now, we have some more leaks saying the game could be coming soon.
A game listing from an unnamed retailer leaked on Reddit not too long ago. The post was since deleted due to the original poster not giving significant proof to mods it was legit. After all, it would be a very easy thing to fake. What makes this more credible? We now know that Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is coming October 18th as you can see below, just as this same leak indicates.
It could be a big coincidence of course, and the leaker could have just gotten lucky with one date. That’s why we’re still filing this under rumor for the time being, but it’s looking more and more likely. A Nintendo Direct is scheduled for later today, so will we see Overwatch there? I won’t be too surprised.
