Overwatch Dance Emotes Only Unlockable During Anniversary Event

Get to grinding - the event's almost up.

Blizzard Entertainment has a way with delivering on fan requests in Overwatch. Players have asked for sprays, voice lines and so on to be implemented the game, which the development team has been happy to do. Dance emotes were another such request and they finally arrived with the Anniversary Event.

Unfortunately, they’re tied to the event. And as per a recent tweet from Blizzard, they’re going to remain Anniversary Event items. This means that you can only buy them with in-game currency or have them drop from Loot Boxes while the event is on-going. Of course, you could spend real money on Loot Boxes and hopefully they’ll drop there.

The main problem comes from the fact that the dances cost 750 currency each. Multiplied by 25 Heroes and that means you need a seriously large amount of Loot Boxes (or currency) to get them all. The limited time-frame and generally low moment of non-event content doesn’t help either.
