Overwatch Dataminers Unearth SFX, Hero Interactions for Christmas Event

Dad 76 confirmed?

It seems Overwatch’s next big event will be a Christmas-themed spectacle.

That’s according to what dataminers have managed to uncover on Reddit. Along with a bunch of hero interactions (as evidenced in the various voice clips), there are sound FX and voice-over lines for something called the “Arena”. And if you doubt the fact that it could be a Christmas event, then you need only listen to this track (which could very well be the menu background song).

We already know that one new map “Oasis” would be coming to the PTR in December but it’s possible another map could be introduced, much like the Summer Games and Halloween Terror events. You can also pretty much expect Christmas-themed Loot Boxes with the corresponding themes, sprays, skins and whatnot.

Of course, Blizzard hasn’t confirmed any of this so stay tuned for more information and let us know what you hope to see this December.
