Overwatch Event Loot Box Drop Rate Hasn’t Changed

It's been the same across all events thus far.

Many players of Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch have a thing for Loot Boxes. After all, one of the biggest hooks is collecting every single cosmetic and having some dank new skins to show off. This is even more so during the special events.

However, RNG being what it is, many participants may not get what they want from event Loot Boxes. As per director Jeff Kaplan on the official forums though, this doesn’t mean the drop rates for said Loot Boxes has changed overtime.

“The drop rates for Summer Games, Halloween Terror, Winter Wonderland and Year of the Rooster are all the same.”

So if you haven’t gotten that Legendary Winston or Zenyatta skin that fulfills your Journey to the West power fantasy, then tough luck.

What are your thoughts on the Loot Box drop rate for Overwatch in general? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
