Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch received a fairly significant update this week which added Arcade (a collection of different modes and playlists), Sombra as a new hero and re-balanced several heroes. En route to its free weekend on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, it seems that there are matchmaking issues currently taking place.

On its official Twitter, Blizzard noted that, “We are investigating an issue in which players are unable to find matches or start games using matchmaking queues in Overwatch.”

Players have also reported matches taking anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes to locate. In the meantime, it’s best to sit tight and wait for fixes to arrive. We’ll update once matchmaking issues have been resolved so stay tuned for more information.

What are your thoughts on the new content in Overwatch though especially with the new Arcade, Sombra and changes to heroes like Pharah, Torbjörn, Mercy and Soldier 76? Let us know in the comments below.
