Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2021

With the Winter Wonderland seasonal event returning, Blizzard Entertainment has begun a free trial for Overwatch. It’s live now until January 2nd, 2022 and allows players to experience all of the different heroes, maps and modes for free. Of course, those on Xbox and PlayStation need Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus to play online.

As for everyone else, they can level up, earn Loot Boxes, unlock cosmetics and partake in just about every mode from Quick Play to Arcade (with only Competitive Play being locked off). Any progress made will automatically transfer over to the full game if one decides to purchase the same.

Overwatch is available for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The Winter Wonderland event recently added a new brawl, Freezethaw Elimination, along with several new cosmetics and Weekly Challenges. Players can even pick up previous years’ cosmetics at a discount. The event is currently slated to end on January 6th, 2022.
