Overwatch Year of the Dog_Lunar New Year

Curious about Overwatch’s recent Lunar Event aka Year of the Dog but not sure if you should take the plunge? Blizzard Entertainment has announced a free weekend for Xbox One, PS4 and PC players to try out the full game. The free weekend starts on February 16th and ends on February 19th.

Along with providing access to all 26 heroes, players will also have access to all the maps and modes in the game. You can also earn loot boxes and unlock cosmetic items. Given that new players start from scratch, there might not be a ton of luck in unlocking the new Year of the Dog cosmetics.

But hey, at least they can try out the new and improved Capture the Flag mode and newest map Ayutthaya. Those who pick up the full version of Overwatch can transfer their progress over when the free weekend ends and continue playing where they left off. Head here to learn more about the free weekend.
