Overwatch Horizon Lunar Colony Map Arrives on June 20th

Will be available for all platforms.

Fresh off of the Anniversary Event and plenty of complaints regarding its Loot Box RNG, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Overwatch’s Horizon Lunar Colony map will go live on June 20th. It will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Horizon is infamous for being a colony where humans and genetically modified gorillas lived together, Winston being one such example. When the gorillas got fed up the rules, they essentially rebelled and killed all the humans. Winston escaped to Earth and Horizon was seemingly forgotten about. However, it’s open for business once again and serves as an Assault map for our favourite heroes.

Along with a variety of different rooms, floors and sights (including a giant telescope to peer at Earth), a small part of the colony’s exterior can also be traversed, providing a low gravity setting to fight in.

Horizon Lunar Colony is expected to launch along with a new patch, though Blizzard has yet to confirm the same. Stay tuned for more details and let us know what you think in the comments.
