Overwatch

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch was pegged to release before June 21st on multiple platforms but it seems it could be out sooner.

A Reddit user recently spotted an advertisement for Overwatch on IGN before it was pulled and it indicated that the multiplayer shooter would be releasing on May 24th. Interestingly, it also seems that there will be an open beta, with pre-orders netting players early access on May 3rd.

The developer hasn’t responded to these discoveries yet but it was assumed that Overwatch would be out in late Spring regardless. The game is currently in closed beta for a select few players across the world and is slated to release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

What are your thoughts on playing Overwatch in May or even in taking part in the open beta? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for an official comment from Blizzard in the coming days.
